Hello Yogesh,
As far as I know, Triangular truncation is
isotropic over the meridional and zonal
directions. This is a good reason to use
it in a GCM.
I don't know if you can use romboidal truncation
in CCM. However, it is possible to make an algoritm to move from
one truncation to other, just take care with the
meridional and zonal wave number truncated.
