Hallo,
The surface pressure is changed by altering it in the input file.
Make sure the surface pressure exceeds the midpoint pressure of the
lowest atmospheric level.
To alter the default vertical distribution of aerosol (bottom three
levels) you must reprogram src/physics/aermix.F to suit your needs.
Modifying this one routine is fairly straightforward.
Another alternative is modify the src/crm/crm.F so that getdat() reads
in an extra column of numbers from the input file. You could use this
column to specify, e.g., aerosol optical depth or mixing ratio. This
option involves more programming, but is also more flexible.
The doc/AEROSOL file contains information which will help you
interpret your results.
Good luck,
Charlie
