Subject: Corrupt CCMI Files

Hi,
I am running the CCM3.6 on a dual Pentium machine using the Linux operating
system. I have noticed that the ccmi files produced during the run have
corrupt data. All of Row 1 over Antarctica have values that are extremely
different from the values in Row 2, 3, etc. I was wondering if anyone else
has come across this problem and if so been able to correct it in the model.
I get around this problem at the moment by just running the ccmi file
through a program that replaces Row1 values with Row 2 values. If I try to
run the model with the uncorrected CCMI file the model dies before the first
time step indicating an energy imbalance.
Regards,
Rob
