Hi,

I am trying to get the CCM3.6 running on an Alpha Linux system. I have the
NetCDF libraries installed and compiled and I get the model to compile but I
get the following error as the input files are being read in by the model:

(GETFIL): attempting to find local file ozn.0596.r8.nc
 (GETFIL): using /usr/wfrm/ccm/data/ozn.0596.r8.nc
 INITEXT: NCOPN returns id 4 for file
 /usr/wfrm/ccm/data/ozn.0596.r8.nc
 (GETFIL): attempting to find local file T42Jan82-Nov99OISST.nc
 (GETFIL): using /usr/wfrm/ccm/data/T42Jan82-Nov99OISST.nc
 INITEXT: NCOPN returns id 5 for file
 /usr/wfrm/ccm/data/T42Jan82-Nov99OISST.nc
atm: putget.c:3863: getNCvx_double_double: Assertion `value != ((void *)0)'
failed.
forrtl: error (76): IOT trap signal
Abort (core dumped)

Any ideas on how to rectify this problem would be greatly appreciated.
