Dear CCM3 users:

I got confused and couldn't get clear answers from CCM3 or LSM technique
descriptions for the definitions of three temperatures in CCM3 models.

(1) Is ground temperature the skin temperature of the ground?

(2) In vegetated area, is the surface temperature the temperature right
above the vegetations?

(3) Is the 2m temperature the temperature 2m above the ground (definition
in weather forecast model) or above the vegetations?

Could any of you please give me any suggesions and answers?

Thanks a lot!!
