Subject: Same problem again, I think... (fwd)

A colleague of mine is trying to run CCM3.10.11 with 3.6.6 physics
on blackforest here at NCAR. We keep running into the following
messages:
ATTENTION: 0031-408 4 tasks allocated by LoadLeveler, continuing...
ERROR: 0031-725 Failed to exec program ./atm; errno = 5
ERROR: 0031-725 Failed to exec program ./atm; errno = 5
ERROR: 0031-725 Failed to exec program ./atm; errno = 5
ERROR: 0031-619 execvp error: There is an input or output error.
ERROR: 0031-619 execvp error: There is an input or output error.
ERROR: 0031-619 execvp error: There is an input or output error.
ERROR: 0031-250 task 0: Terminated
This happened at least three times before. Each time we simply remove
the *.o files and the executable "atm" from the "run" directory and
resubmit. It works the second time. We'd like for it to work the first
time. Anyone have any ideas on what to look for?
