Subject: getting data into the Processor

I would like to do some computations with ECMWF analyses and the
Processor which require vertical derivatives to be followed by the
computation of horizontal gradients. Since the EC analyses are on
pressure levels, I'll need to pull the fields out of the Processor to
compute the vertical derivatives with some FORTRAN routines of my own.
I was wondering if anyone has FORTRAN code they would be willing to
share which would allow me to create new pressure-level tapes from
the resultant fields so that I could put them back into the processor.

Cheers,
Leslie
