Subject: questions on branch run
To: ccm-users@ncar.UCAR.EDU

Hello, ccm2 users:
I have some simple questions for help. When I did a branch run, I have to give a new case name
(eg. shr15). Does this mean I have to have a separate directory also called this name to dispose
my new history files and regeneration files? I used to do this branch run in a previous run directory,
it failed for some reason.
Another question, I'm going to add some new variables to the history files. Is there any way to do
this continuing from "some point" of my previous run, instead of starting an initial run?
If someone could help me with this, I'll be highly appreciated.
enjoy!
