02.11.01 - Desktop Systems

CGD is committed to providing a reasonable compute environment for its members and visitors. A general computing fund was established in 2013 that will provide division members with one updated computer on a 4 year rotating basis. The full details are here.

Currently supported operating sytems are Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOSX and the Scientific Linux distribution.

Visitors requiring systems will be provided with a Linux desktop.
