Dear CCM users,

I have available a utility that reads the header records of
CCM history files very quickly from the UNIX prompt. I use
it for determining the:

number of time records in the history file
size of time records in a history file
value of any header variable such as (p123-128 TN-421):
     - the date of the time record (NCDATE)
     - current day number (NDCUR)
     - number of time steps since last write (NITSLF)
     - etc.

I use it along with 'xdata' to analyze information from
previous runs. It's written in 'C' so should easily
compile on any machine.

If anyone is interested just drop me an email and I'll
email it to you.

Best wishes!

Gery.
