Hi Rui,
I'll give you 2 suggestions:
1. If you just want day-averaged files, why don't you write files every
simulated day and average over this day. You can do it whit the options:
NHTFRQ = -24 (write history file every 24 hours)
NINAVG = 'A' (Average over NHTFRQ= 24 hours)
2. You can split the history files, so you write in a single file on 'n-time
samples' instead of the whole run. For example:
MFILT = 20
writes 20 samples in every file, so you don't get the "file size limitation".
