Dear Xuguang,

the question has two aspects:

1) How to initialize Oro etc. and 2) How to tell the LSM to use other data

For the fist part:

I recommend:

a) Transfer the history file to ascii / the netCDF file to ascii
(depending on what applies),
b) exchange in clear ascii the respective data (but don t go beyond
col 78) and
c) transfer it back.

For that you can use in case of netCDF ncdump, ncgen with the respecive
flags. For the ascii/history version I can send you something.

The 2nd part I have to look up in the inst. (I never had any
problems with it although I use quite different orographies etc.).
