Hi Gary,

It seems that you are doing some experiments similar to ours. For our
experiments, we will only use the initial condition files got from the control
run. We don't use the restart and the history files to restart the new run. So
ours can't be called branch run. We don't need to change the SST dates, just the
same SST file is enough.

Could I ask you your target to do so such experiments? Do you want to get the
mean state of the 20 branch run? How long can the CCM3 get to be equilibrated?
