I don't mean to sound defensive, but if you requested Z3 just by adding an
entry to fincl='...' in the namelist, this is not sufficient to guarantee
that the field will actually appear on the history file. One has to
additionally ensure that there is a call to "outfld" at an appropriate place
in the code.
