3.5 Output Datasets
CCM3 generates several output datasets during execution. The purpose of
this section is to describe the structure and contents of the output history
files, and the restart files, as well as provide an indication of where
and how they are written in the code. Knowledge of the material presented
in Sec. 2.2 through 2.5
is assumed.
