Brian O’Neill, Leiwen Jiang, and Wei Zhou will represent NCAR's IAM group at the meeting. Brian will be speaking in a session entitled “World Population Projections: Comparison and Discussion of Alternative Approaches.” Leiwen will present two posters, on the topics of “The Heterogeneity of Urbanization Patterns and Carbon Emissions” and “Global Regional Consistent Population/Urbanization Projections for Developing Socioeconomic Scenarios.” Wei will present a poster entitled, "Quantitative Estimates of the Families Losing Only Child in China and Its Implication for Social Assistance."
