Dear Patrick,

although not done under Linux the solution shall be simple:

Just pipe the namelist file into standardinput

OR

rename the namelist file to lets say namlist.par

and open on unit 5 this namelist.par.

Note that ccm3 writes also on 6 and scrolls sometimes rapidly.
And note that after about 5 minutes (I assume you your a fast
Intel machine with enough memory) you will experience a pause in
scrolling. Be patient....
