Hi,
We have been trying to restart some runs but have been encountering an
error. The error seems to occur when writing conducting the last write to a
history file before it is closed. For instance we initially ran 2 days
writing to three history files, h***,ha***, & hb***. The two auxiliary
files are written to every 24 hours and the h*** file was written to each
month. The mfilt variable was set to 5 for the auxiliary files and 1 for
the main history file.
After 2 days I restarted the run and ran an additional 10 days. The model
died on the fourth model day with the following error:
PGFIO-F-231/Formatted read/internal/ file/error on data conversion
In source file .../control/bldfln.F at line number 91
I have done numerous investigations and always get this error when it is
making the last write to the current history file after the model is
restarted.
Any feedback about this problem would be greatly appreciated.
