The NCAR Community Climate Model (CCM3)

Help with unix Patch

patch < ccm3_2_fix_patch

When I did the above I got the following output...

[339]1-mercury:/home/erik/ccm3 > gunzip ccm3.2_patch1.tar.gz
[340]1-mercury:/home/erik/ccm3 > tar xvf ccm3.2_patch1.tar
x ccm3.2_patch1, 8783 bytes, 18 tape blocks
[341]1-mercury:/home/erik/ccm3 > patch 

Later it asked me which file to patch for files in subdirectories.  It actually
tells you which file to use under the index.  So for example...

|retrieving revision 1.1.1.1
|retrieving revision 1.1.1.1.4.1

|--- lsmini.F   1998/01/30 18:51:26     1.1.1.1.4.1
--------------------------
File to patch: 

The proper answer is just "lsm/lsmini.F".

Remember CCM3 is now unsupported, use CAM for the latest Atmospheric Model 
for use of climate science.
