Current Research
I'm an associate scientist working with Marika Holland and Alice DuVivier in the Climate and Global Dynamics Division of the National Center for Atmospheric Research. I serve as the CESM Polar Climate Working Group and sea ice model liaison. I'm interested in climate system modelling and the interactions between sea ice, the atmosphere, and the oceans. Currently I am involved in the development of the next version of CESM as a part of the CMIP process.
In my line of work, I've had the opportunity to travel a fair bit. Here are some photographs which I've taken in Alaska, Tasmania, on a field work experience at Cape Herschel on Ellesmere Island in the Canadian Arctic, and other various locations.
